Who We Are

Our facility is located in Ventura, California, USA, which is conveniently located 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 25 miles south of Santa Barbara.

Within the first year, the company was contracted to construct a pair of complete working prototype cell culturing robots for a medical industry customer. This task included designing custom gearing and pulleys for the machines positioning specification, selecting the proper materials and delivering completed documentation. We were then awarded the contract to manufacture 11 more units.

A few years later, a large manufacturer of drilling support equipment was providing the newly booming Siberian Arctic oil industry with tubing and rod power tong machines. This very fast growing company had to rely on responsive vendors that could produce medium  sized production runs on time, for their critical delivery schedule. TEK Engineering was able to outperform the other gear manufacturing competition by our fast delivery, superior quality, and competitive pricing. We were rewarded by becoming their sole source of gears over the next five years. Each machine has over 40 gear part numbers.

In 1994 we expanded and relocated to our present location.

A lot has changed since our inception in 1989, but our mission to provide our customers with quality parts and services, at a competitive price has not. We believe that this has been the key to our success and has also played a part in the prosperity of the customers we serve.
